Civil / Structural Engineer

Ms. Fairchild’s experience during her 30-year career at Kimley-Horn includes a wide range of structural and civil engineering design and construction-related services for projects in both the public and private sectors. She has provided planning, design, repair, rehabilitation, construction administration, and inspection phase services on civil and structural engineering projects. Angelina’s experience includes prestressed and cast-in-place concrete, steel, masonry, and timber design. Structural projects include FDOT bridges, culverts, retaining walls, conveyors, dune crossovers, boardwalks, bulkheads, seawalls, marinas, docks, industrial buildings, parking garages, warehouses, and storage and containment facilities. Her site civil design experience includes parks, municipal projects, and private development for commercial and industrial sites. In addition to preparing construction documents, Angelina has performed peer reviews and value engineering evaluations. Her forensic engineering expertise began in 1992, performing structural damage assessments for a variety of structures following Hurricane Andrew. Her experience includes evaluating damage to roofs and building envelopes for dozens of commercial and residential structures, and conducting property damage and premises liability investigations.
