Military

The purpose of military infrastructure is to support the execution of a mission. Kimley-Horn’s Military Practice Group has first-hand knowledge of the unique requirements this places on a project. Many of our group’s professionals were former U.S. military engineering officers or technical personnel on projects for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Kimley-Horn is an early adopter of the U.S. Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, further demonstrating commitment to our clients, our cybersecurity practices, and our eligibility for federal contracts. By successfully completing a DCMA Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment Program assessment, Kimley-Horn has shown a strong commitment to the DoD and the Defense Industrial Base.

DIBCAC and Redspin, a Certified 3rd Party Assessment Organization, completed their assessments and awarded Kimley-Horn with a perfect 110-point score. This DIBCAC High certificate will be converted into a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 accreditation as federal rulemaking allows. This is anticipated to be finalized in Fall 2024.
