Catie Miller Selected for APTA’s Emerging Leaders Program, Class of 2026

Congratulations to Catie Miller on being named to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Emerging Leaders Program, Class of 2026! The APTA Emerging Leaders Program opens doors for public transportation professionals to deepen their knowledge of transit, grow their leadership skills, and grow their network of transit professionals nationwide. As one of 35 participants selected from around the country, Catie will gather additional tools and insights through this program to continue her growth as a public transportation professional.

Based in the Twin Cities, Catie is a passionate advocate for implementing large-scale transit projects, particularly Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT). Through projects like the Gold Line BRT and the Blue Line Extension LRT, she has gained valuable knowledge and a deep appreciation for improving public transportation systems nationwide. As a member of the APTA Emerging Leaders Program, Catie looks forward to gaining a broader understanding of diverse transit organizations, geographic-specific issues, and best practices.
