Developing the Convention Center Parking Garage

As part of the “Core to Shore” redevelopment framework, the City of Oklahoma City opened a new convention center to serve as the meeting destination of the south-central U.S. A six-level, 1,100-space parking garage was also constructed to serve the new convention center. The garage includes a mixed-used development wrap, including retail, multifamily residential facilities, and 3,000 square feet of office space for the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority.

Introducing More Community Parking

The Oklahoma City Convention Center Garage serves a variety of downtown parking needs, connecting travelers to both adjacent destinations and future developments. Visitors and locals can now gain easier access to area destinations, including the Convention Center, Scissortail Park, Omni Hotel, Myriad Botanical Gardens, OKC Streetcar, and the Chesapeake Energy Arena, home to the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder. The garage also includes a half-level basement to accommodate hotel visitors and an enclosed skyway bridge to provide safe and streamlined pedestrian connections.
