Stephanie Hachem and Jason Matson Inducted Into the ACEC College of Fellows, Class of 2019
Stephanie Hachem and Jason Matson were named to the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2019 Class of Fellows in recognition of their contributions to the industry.
Those who receive this award have been selected by their peers to receive recognition for exceptional contributions to the engineering profession. To be inducted into the College of Fellows, one must be nominated, have academic and professional qualifications and accomplishments exhibiting contributions to the objectives of ACEC, be a knowledgeable leader in their field, be part of a member firm, and have served as an officer, director, or member of an ACEC national committee. Kimley-Horn is proud to have two of its exceptional engineering leaders awarded this recognition.
Jason Matson, P.E.
Throughout his more than 22 years of professional consulting with Kimley-Horn, Jason Matson has proudly served his clients, his firm, and the engineering industry. Jason joined Kimley-Horn in South Florida to focus on the areas of transportation planning and traffic engineering. In this role, he served external clients, growing Kimley-Horn’s reach across Florida. Now, Jason oversees the growth and vision of Kimley-Horn’s operations in California as the California Regional Leader. Of the many projects Jason has worked on throughout his career, the ones he finds most rewarding have a lasting positive impact on the communities they serve, such as City Place in West Palm Beach and Tradition in Port St. Lucie.

Stephanie Hachem, P.E.
Stephanie Hachem joined Kimley-Horn in 1989 as a structural engineering analyst and has since grown to be a well-respected leader in the firm and engineering industry. Throughout her career, Stephanie has made a national impact by leading strategic firmwide initiatives throughout the country. She has managed a variety of large multidisciplinary projects with a structural element, such as parking decks, bridges, transit facilities, and industrial buildings, working with clients and colleagues from across the country. From her avid involvement in North Carolina’s Indemnification/Duty to Defend Relief Bill to a portfolio of projects nationwide, Stephanie’s breadth of experience affords her a thorough working knowledge of the transportation and infrastructure capabilities and requirements throughout North Carolina and the country.
