Powering the Gallery Haus High-Rise in Downtown St. Petersburg

Innovative MEP Services

Relocated existing utilities within the constrained warehouse and retail area and designed a space-saving electrical and generator stacking system

Integrative Design

Paved the way for cohesive installation of the new building within an existing structure, developing demolition plans and navigating neighborhood constraints

Local Connectivity

Projected to enhance activation along the Pinellas Trail network and increase access to Tropicana Field and other local attractions

Integrated into the corner of an active warehouse and retail space, Gallery Haus will be a 23-story multifamily residential tower providing connections to the Pinellas Trail network, Tropicana Field, and other destinations in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. With 254 rental units, the new building will feature more than 10,000 square feet of amenities and co-working space for residents as well as 5,000 square feet of retail space at the ground level.

Kimley-Horn provided MEP and fire protection services, landscape architecture services for the amenity deck and pool area, and demolition plans for the warehouse space the tower is being constructed within. We also relocated existing utilities powering a next-door rock climbing gym and developed creative designs to stack electrical and generator systems on top of each other to maximize rentable retail space for our client.

Our team began providing services for this project in mid-2024, and construction began on the high-rise in late 2025. From integrating community considerations into our demolition planning documents to efficient MEP designs, our services for Gallery Haus will create an innovative space within a constrained area for residents to call home.
