Edwin Tamang Honored with 2026 AMAC President’s Award

In 2026, Edwin Tamang, PE, received this award as a recognition of his leadership and influence—both within AMAC and the aviation and aerospace industries.
Aviation Impacts That Stand the Test of Time
Edwin has cultivated a robust career in aviation design and engineering—including leading the programming and delivery of multi-billion-dollar programs at the Orlando International Airport, San Antonio International Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport. As a part of a Kimley-Horn team that has completed projects at more than 600 airfields, Edwin is an inspiring program manager who is also recognized for his training and mentorship engagement both within and outside of Kimley-Horn.
An active member with AMAC since 2011, Edwin has spoken at conference and industry engagement events like the Annual Airport Business Diversity Conference and Project Leaders Inspiring Future Talent. His experience with leadership, engineering, and design for new terminal facilities, landside access and parking improvements, and major airfield infrastructure improvements has created aviation spaces that streamline travel and improve work environments for personnel.
