Tim Miller Honored as One of Airport Business’s 2023 Top 40 Under 40
Tim Miller, P.E., was named to Airport Business magazine’s 2023 Top 40 Under 40 list, a recognition given to the top innovative thinkers in the aviation industry. Tim Miller has been recognized for his leadership and notable contributions to the firm’s pavement management practice for both airside and landside airport clients.
Tim has more than 17 years of experience in pavement engineering and technology-based infrastructure condition assessments. He specializes in non-destructive test methods and analysis techniques while leveraging automated data collection methods and machine learning principles to deliver impactful results to clients across the country.
Paving the Way for Community Service and Industry Involvement
Tim has a passion for serving communities and previously lived in Rwanda, where he taught physics and volunteered his engineering expertise. While in Rwanda, he completed site assessments of rural road construction projects and development projects related to solar energy, fuel-efficient cooking stoves, rainwater catchment, and water pasteurization systems. Tim has repeatedly embraced the complexities of working on projects in diverse locations, including the Aleutian Islands and Azores.
Tim is active as an Advisory Board Member for the Engineering Leadership Program at California State University, Chico, and he serves in a leadership position on the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Pavement Condition Evaluation. Throughout his career, Tim has consistently created innovative quality solutions for his clients, community, and industry—making strides at the intersection of aviation and pavement management.
