Kimley-Horn worked closely with Optima and the entire consultant team, providing a full range of site development and civil engineering services for the Optima Camelview Village in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Optima Camelview Village is a mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, just west of Camelback Road and north of Scottsdale Road. In recent years, downtown Scottsdale has experienced a rebirth with the addition of condominiums, townhouses, live-work lofts, and apartment dwellings to give residents more lifestyle options and access to higher-density living within close proximity of the beautiful desert landscape of the Camelback Mountain area.
Optima Camelview brings an upscale and environmentally-sensitive mix of 750 residential units, within 13 separate buildings, and 38,000 s.f. of street-level office/retail to this highly desirable area of downtown Scottsdale.
Kimley-Horn has provided a full range of site development and civil engineering services to the project including traffic engineering; transportation planning; and full-phase site civil engineering, including grading and drainage, wet utility design, dry utility coordination, parking design, half-street improvements, and public involvement.
