Kimley-Horn provided survey, wetland, civil design, helipad design, and site permitting services for the new Franciscan Health development located on an 86-acre site in Michigan City.
The five-story, 440,000 square foot hospital contains 120 beds and 870 parking spaces. Kimley-Horn’s services also included master planning for the hospital campus to accommodate 65,000 square feet of future medical office and associated parking. Kimley-Horn coordinated with the county, city, and utility agencies for the extension of 3,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer.
