Landscape Architect and Specifier News Features Goodyear Recreation Campus
Kimley-Horn Designed Goodyear, AZ’s First Recreation Center
Inspired by the vibrant characteristics of a kaleidoscope, the Goodyear Recreation Campus encompasses six improvement projects, including an aquatics facility, a 30-acre park, and infrastructure improvements, all of which were designed in alignment with significant community involvement after a survey found residents strongly supported creating more recreation opportunities and improved parks.
The colorful campus drew more than 46,000 visits in their first two weeks after last summer’s grand opening. Enthusiasm has remained high as thousands of community members enjoy the center’s immersive experience. Landscape Architect and Specifier News takes a great look at the whole campus, individual facilities, and play spaces that were designed by our team.
