Congratulations to Kate Triplett, PE, for being named to Building Design + Construction’s (BD+C) 40 Under 40 Class of 2026—a recognition celebrating rising leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Kate was honored by BD+C in recognition of her 18-year career shaping landmark projects, mentoring future leaders, and serving the AEC industry and her community. Her career highlights have included major developments such as Truist Park at The Battery Atlanta—the new home of the Atlanta Braves—and Georgia State University’s 200,000-square-foot Convocation Center. Beyond project delivery, Kate has become a mentor to Kimley-Horn’s Atlanta land development group, served in regional women’s leadership roles, and been a member of industry organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, CREDA (Commercial Real Estate Development Association), and Women in Healthcare. Her commitment to service also extends to the Atlanta community through mentoring high school students and volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
