Rowyn Wreggit Selected for APTA’s Emerging Leaders Program, Class of 2027

Congratulations to Rowyn Wreggit on being named to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Emerging Leaders Program, Class of 2027! The APTA Emerging Leaders Program opens doors for public transportation professionals to deepen their transit knowledge, strengthen their leadership presence, and grow their peer network nationwide. As one of 36 participants selected from around the country, Rowyn will gather additional tools and insights through this program to continue her growth as a public transportation professional.

Based in Everett, Washington, Rowyn is a passionate advocate for advancing public transportation across the country. She specializes in implementing large-scale transit infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest, particularly for bus-focused initiatives such as zero-emission bus (ZEB) and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Through her work on initiatives like Sound Transit’s Everett Link Extension and Community Transit’s Zero-Emission Fleet transition, Rowyn has developed extensive transit planning and design expertise and community engagement skills.

As a member of the APTA Emerging Leaders Program, Rowyn looks forward to furthering innovation in the transit industry and enhancing the quality of life in communities through implementing sustainable solutions and developing relationships with her cohort.
