The 25,000-square foot Family Health Center is built in an area of McKinney, Texas where 43% of residents lack health insurance and more than half haven’t had dental care in the previous year. Serving a 60-mile radius in a part of North Texas where quality care is hard to come by, this facility is on track to provide important services to more than 6,000 patients—regardless of their ability to pay.

Beyond healthcare, the Family Health Center offers a pantry for families in need, community learning, and training rooms, furthering MASS Design and Independent Financial’s goal of an inclusive center that reverses long-standing health care inequities.
