Tony Esposito Named to Airport Business Magazine’s 2021 Top 40 Under 40

Tony Esposito, P.E., was named to Airport Business Magazine‘s 2021 Top 40 Under 40 list. This recognition is given to the top innovative thinkers who successfully advance the aviation industry. Tony has been recognized for his leadership in his industry, specifically airfield design, and the community in which he serves.

A project manager with Kimley-Horn, Tony has over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry and specializes in airfield design, centralized deicing facilities, and construction management services.

Tony benefitted from great mentors early on in his career: as a result, he quickly grew his ability to manage the full range of a project from initial conception through final design and construction, as well as his willingness to give back by mentoring others. He closely partnered with two local minority firms during the O’Hare Global Terminal Program and during multiple phases of the Indianapolis Runway 5R/23L project. Both firms benefitted from his expertise and were able to grow their staff and expand their technical knowledge, positioning them for more assignments.

“I take the most satisfaction working with my team on a vision that goes from concept to drawing to construction. Witnessing the final product is as exciting today as it was when I first started in this industry. But none of it would be possible without my team.”

Tony’s passion for centralized deicing facilities has led him to become a leader in this field. Earlier this year, he organized and led one of Airport Consultant Council’s most highly attended on-demand webinars, “Improving Winter Airfield Operations with Centralized Deicing Facilities,” with participation of airport clients Chicago O’Hare and Memphis International. Tony continues to support the industry and is a member of the ACC Engineering Technical Committee, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
