Leading the Way Forward with GIS Expertise
With a background in everything from data model design to web-based GIS system implementation and geoprocessing automation, Pam has used geospatial technology in the vital field of disaster management. She has also solved geospatial problems for projects related to pandemic health, water resources, utility planning, environmental applications, transportation planning, and military shore installation infrastructure and asset data.
Across her career at Kimley-Horn, Pam has contributed GIS expertise to a variety of community-centric projects. One of these was a post-Helene disaster recovery project in Western North Carolina, in which she helped develop a GIS-based platform to track private property debris removal applications. The highly successful project benefited community recovery in the wake of a disaster and inspired additional use cases for other projects, showing Pam’s ability to create industry precedents that leave a legacy.
