Clarksville Regional ITS Architecture

The Clarksville Regional ITS Architecture and Deployment Plan was developed in 2006 and updated in 2015 and 2020. The 2020 update reflects changes within the Clarksville Region as well as changes to the National ITS Architecture. The update process was led by the Clarksville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CUAMPO) in close coordination with federal, state and local stakeholders in the Clarksville Region.

The Clarksville Region is comprised of Montgomery County in Tennessee and the southeast portion of Christian County in Kentucky. Stakeholders that participated in the update included CUAMPO, Federal Highway Administration, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, City of Clarksville, City of Hopkinsville, Clarksville Transit System, Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency, and Fort Campbell. The updated components include the Clarksville Regional ITS Architecture and Deployment Plan report, an Interactive Regional ITS Architecture, and a Regional Architecture Development for Intelligent Transportation (RAD-IT) database.
