Kimley-Horn served as a subconsultant to Richard + Bauer Architects, offering our expertise in landscape architecture for the new South Mountain Library Building and Learning Resource Center. The 45,000 square foot library features sustainable architecture with an environmentally sensitive focus. Project scope included planting and irrigation design, construction documents and construction phase services for the library and associated building remodel, and expanded parking and pedestrian amenities throughout the SMCC campus. The project utilized the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method of delivery. In 2011, the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects recognized Kimley-Horn for our outstanding design work on this project.
