The Naples Airport Authority selected Kimley-Horn as its airfield pavement consultant in March 2008. Kimley-Horn’s initial project included a comprehensive structural analysis of all airfield pavement components, including runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking aprons. A multi-year, staged program of rehabilitation and replacements was recommended and subsequently adopted by the Authority at its November 2008 board meeting. Projects have included the rehabilitation of Taxiway A East, Taxiway A West, Runway 23 Bypass, and the General Aviation Ramp.
