Kimley-Horn provided complete consulting services as part of the 2,500-acre redevelopment of March Air Force Base as a mixed-use business park. The firm's services included planning, environmental, master plans, traffic, and civil engineering services. Civil engineering services included site planning and grading, drainage, site access, interchange design, mass transit, surveying and mapping, entitlements, and coordination with the consultant team and local agencies. Kimley-Horn recently obtained approval of a specific plan amendment, updated tentative map and EIR. As part of the overall project, Kimley-Horn has focused on green elements for the business park, including continually updating the stormwater compliance measures and obtaining LEED certification. The project has won numerous awards including ADC Project of the Year.
