Public Meetings

Public Design Charrette—June 1- 3, 2010

  • A charrette is a workshop that brings in the public early in the process and lets them help come up with the solutions.  During the three-day charrette held at the Randolph Mall, members of the project team interacted with the public and key stakeholders to formulate a set of alternative improvements for the Dixie Drive corridor.  An initial public input session was held on the evening of June 1 to identify issues and establish a vision for the corridor.  The charrette concluded with a Presentation of Alternatives workshop on June 3, where the public could view the progress made and offer feedback for implementation.

Citizens Informational Workshop #3—September 2010

Attend a final design presentation unveiling your U.S. 64 plan. The project team will present its draft recommendations and implementation plan and give local residents an opportunity to provide input and feedback before the final plans are developed.
